US media outlet CNN is closing offices for non-emergency workers.
In the United States, coronavirus infection is on the rise. The news was confirmed by CNN on Saturday (December 16).
The instructions were given on Saturday in an internal memo written to staff, Reuters reported.
CNN is part of AT&T Inc.'s (TN) Warner Media division. The memo said the office would be closed until further notice for employees who do not work in the office.
CNN claims that we have taken this step as a precaution. Those who need to be in the office will have to wear a full-time mask. Some changes have also been made in the studio and control room.
CNN has ordered every worker to be vaccinated against the corona epidemic.
Earlier in August, three workers were fired for going to the office without vaccination.
