WHO approved vaccine recipients will be able to travel to the United States |
Recipients of the corona vaccine, approved by the U.S. regulatory body or the World Health Organization (WHO), can travel to the United States.
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said in a statement on Friday night.
According to Reuters, the White House announced on September 20 that the United States would lift travel bans on those who have been given a full dose of the Corona vaccine in China, India, Brazil, and most European countries. However, it was not immediately clear which vaccine would be given.
A CDC spokesman told Reuters on Friday that the six vaccines approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or listed by the WHO for emergency use would meet travel standards in the United States.
The CDC said at the end of Friday that it had informed the airlines earlier this week to help them resume operations and that the CDC would issue additional guidelines and information as travel requirements were finalized.
